The inception of the business stemmed from the insight and experience of Saul Tiano, a former accountancy practice owner who successfully acquired five firms. He experienced firsthand the gaps in the market—namely, the lack of practical support, strategic guidance, and post-deal integration. Saul recognised that many brokers had never run a practice themselves and simply acted as introducers, leaving firm owners to navigate complex deals alone. His on-the-ground knowledge of the industry became the foundation for Kingsman’s approach.

Alfie Charles brings a complementary skill set with a strong background in M&A and IP valuation. His experience spans a range of industries—including luxury fragrance, medicine, aviation, agriculture, and technology—where he has led sell-side transactions involving brands, assets, and complex commercial structures. In addition to his dealmaking expertise, Alfie has a track record in sales and marketing, giving him a commercial edge in how firms are positioned and taken to market.
